Application Support Engineer - Front Office

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our Global Markets team to provide functional support for our trading platforms across FX, Rates, and Equity desks; and assist on specific RAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support trading platforms, order management, and risk systems for FX, Rates, and Equity desks.
  • Be the first point of contact for application technical issues on the trading floor.
  • Investigate and resolve application incidents, working with traders, risk managers, and developers.
  • Identify and fix problems, escalating critical incidents when needed.
  • Assist traders and operations with trade-related queries and issues.
  • Manage and maintain local trading desk tools.
  • Assist FO teams on trading related RAD.
  • Coordinate daily with the head office on new developments, deployments, and stay aware of the global agenda.
  • Guide junior traders on tools development.
  • Be the go-to person for Asia-specific system nuances.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in application support

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good understanding of financial markets and products (FX, equity, rates derivatives).
  • Previous experience working with Murex is preferred.
  • Hands-on coding skills in Python, VBA, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Fluent in English
