Job Responsibility
- Evaluate all underlying risks associated with credit applications.
- Carry out cash flow analysis, projections, and peer comparisons as needed, using relevant data from both internal and external sources.
- Collaborate with Corporate and Business Managers on matters related to credit applications, providing further details and clarification with the appropriate commercial officers as necessary.
- Provide feedback on any special approvals or postponements that may be required.
- Track any credit issues that need follow-up and conduct interim reviews of accounts as needed.
- Monitor the turnaround time for processing credit proposals.
- Approve credit applications within the limits of assigned authority.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Section Head
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a credit analyst, including relevant training in credit analysis and bill operations.
- Strong understanding of local economic and industrial conditions, banking laws and practices, as well as in-depth knowledge of import and export operations and related lending products offered by banks.
- Preferred qualifications include HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, or FRM certifications.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills, with strong logical credit judgment.
- Proficient in PC skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
