Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily trade capture, trade booking, and reconciliation with prime brokers and custodians.
- Work with traders to confirm allocations, resolve breaks, and ensure accurate settlement.
- Monitor corporate actions, cash movements, and position reconciliations.
- Support daily P&L production, position verification, and exposure monitoring.
- Validate daily NAV movements with fund administrator; investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with maintaining internal controls, compliance checks, and operational risk frameworks.
- Liaise with external fund administrators on NAV calculations, valuations, expenses, fees, and investor reporting.
- Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes, including audits and regulatory filings.
- Prepare internal management reports, portfolio analytics, and performance summaries.
- Operational Infrastructure & Projects
- Streamline processes and contribute to building a scalable operational platform.
- Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and workflow optimization.
- Collaborate with IT/data teams to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with investment, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Coordinate with external partners including prime brokers, fund administrators, auditors, and legal counsel.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in hedge fund operations, fund administration, or middle office trade support.
- Proficiency in Enfusion (OMS/PMS) is highly preferred. Experience with other OMS/EMS platforms (e.g., Eze Castle, Bloomberg) is a plus. Strong Excel skills required.
- Familiarity with financial instruments including equities, fixed income, swaps, options, futures, and FX across Asian markets.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) to collaborate effectively with APAC and EU teams.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated with a proactive mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
