Core Responsibilities
- Manage the IT infrastructure work stream and follow HASLA third party management guide to govern the HASL Group IT and external vendor to maintain the IT infrastructure and communication related services.
- Manage the IT infrastructure work stream and follow ITIL methodology and provide guidance to Partner to use Help Desk system to maintain change management, incident management, problem management, and knowledge to attain the agreed service level.
- Work as a relationship manager role to cooperate with all business departments to understand their IT service demand and manage the Partner to deliver the required IT service to support the business operation and customer needs.
- Develop, review and maintain processes, procedures and guidelines for the Partner to maintain the operations in data center, hardware systems, mobile device, VM environment, databases, network systems and security systems, etc.
- Works with Information Security Officer to ensure infrastructure operation complies with HASLA Information Security Control Standard and implement the control process i.e. Data Loss Prevention, Access Control, etc.
- Lead the information security risk assessment program and provide supporting information to assist the audit process.
- Evaluates and develops specifications, estimates costs and makes recommendations to new systems or enhancements to existing systems in detail.
- Serves as a liaison between other technical staff, managers, users, and vendors regarding service requests, usage, standards, security, and other technical matters.
- Prepares disaster recovery plan and executes drill test regularly to ensure the critical system, which identified in Business Impact Analysis, can be resumed on agreed timeline.
- Communicate progress, escalate issues and raise awareness of risks to management and users.
Qualifications / Experience / Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any computer related discipline
- At least 6 years experience in outsourcing vendor management and participating in various technologies in multiple roles (i.e. installation, support, operation, maintenance and strong troubleshooting skill, etc.)
- Knowledgeable on multiple IT disciplines (i.e. IT Service Management, IT Operation & Support, Maintaining IT Systems, Systems Integration, and Applications Development)
- Detailed understanding and practical experience of the installation, operation, configuration, capability and industry direction of at least three IT foundation technologies (i.e. IBM AS400 OS, Microsoft –Server -Active Directory -SCOM -SQL, Red hat Linus/CentOS, System Deployment, Desktop/laptop HW and OS, Web Server Optimisation and Security, VMWare, Citrix, WebGateway, WAN and Wireless Network, Telephony PABX, or SAN, Mobile Iron, etc.).
- Detailed understanding and practical experience of Information Technology and Cyber-Security.
- Detailed knowledge of IT process and governance frameworks (i.e. CobiT, ISO27001 or ITIL, etc.). Familiar with IT practices / regulations of Hong Kong insurance industry (i.e. GL8, GL14, GL20) is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare detailed written instructions, documentation and various KPI report.
