Job Description: Job Accountabilities
- As the HR business partner for Asia Investment, contribute to the design and drive the implementation of all spectrum of HR programs including but not limited to workforce planning, talent development, capabilities building, rewards management, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and all people-related agenda.
- Contribute to the design and drive the implementation of Investment-specific HR policies and processes that are tailored for investment management business, with reference from SLC, RO, and other Sun Life Group policies and practices.
- As the Asia Investment HRBP, establish and maintain business partnership with SLC and Asia HR functions to ensure Asia Investment HR policies and procedures to ensure 1) alignment with Corporate practices and directions, and 2) Investment-specific requirements are communicated and managed.
- Be the core member and work in close partnership with HR workstream lead in the establishment of the new entity and take lead on subsequent HR projects.
- Act as an ambassador of Asia Investment HuB in all interactions with external partners; collect and analyse people trends and market intelligence to refine our employer value proposition.
Job Requirements
- University graduate with 10+ years solid working experience as HR Business Partner or Generalist for global asset managers
- Experience in establishing new business entities / subsidiaries / branches from a HR perspective will be highly preferred.
- Experience in other Asia markets will be highly preferred
- Able to work under pressure, and propose practical solutions under a complicated organizational structure with wide spectrum of stakeholders / ideas
- Able to think out of the box, challenge legacy practices, and consistently look for areas for improvement in our HR model
