The Customer Compliance Team is a function with a global remit, whose primary purpose is to eliminate exposure to both LSEG and 3rd Parties by ensuring our clients are accurately licensed for our Services. The group works with local front-line operations, as well as product, proposition, legal and finance teams across LSEG. The Customer Compliance Remediation Specialist will work alongside the Commercial Director, focusing on resolving compliance concerns in line with organisational standards, improving and accelerating engagement from delivery of compliance review through to full remediation and final settlement
What will you be doing? - Working alongside LSEG Customer Compliance Commercial Director and Remediation Leads, leading and driving engagements with our clients post publication of a compliance report to resolve all identified compliance concerns.
- Manage multiple customer conversations from the point that the compliance report is issued, working with relevant specialists and internal partners to generate remediation proposals which highlight identified concerns, required actions and timelines
- Work closely with internal partners, driving engagement and facilitate input, capturing and applying consideration of client specifics and concerns to craft the most effective engagement strategy.
- Own the delivery of remediation proposals to the client, handling their objections and navigating any resulting negotiations through internal forums, maintaining focus on fair and reasonable conclusion to remedy all identified concerns.
- Consistently apply our agreed standards in the remediation process, proactively contributing to the regular review of compliance processes and supporting documentation
- Provide direction and support to Sales and Account Management colleagues to promote adherence to our standards, acting as a point of escalation to support compliance remediations and ad-hoc client engagements, ensuring all agreed actions result in conclusion of the compliance exposures.
- Engage Legal, Finance and Commercial Operations as required to secure required approvals, ensuring corrective licensing is applied to address exposures and revenue recovery is maximised
- Provide regular updates to broader Customer Compliance and Sales and Account Management leadership through the remediation engagement, providing visibility of associated fees and expected timelines, raising concerns to achieve a balanced conclusion.
