This role will underwrite and review proposals to ensure service pledge is achieved and to underwrite complicated cases with follow up with sales channels. Lead an underwriting team to deliver and meet company targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- To lead an underwriting team in handling underwriting assessment and provide excellence service to sales channels.
- To monitor the team performance to ensure SLA is committed in good quality.
- To provide high quality underwriting service with effective communications for sales channels.
- To perform risk assessment on case underwriting according to own underwriting authority.
- To review suggested cases from junior underwriters and provide coaching to them for staff development.
- To participate in relevant projects and implement underwriting initiatives or campaigns.
- To preform data analysis and prepare reports for performance monitoring.
Job Requirements:
- Solid track record in the underwriting field with over 6 years relevant experience in life insurance underwriting of which 3 years in supervisory role.
- Professional qualification in Life Insurance including FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- University Degree in any disciplines
- Good command of English and Cantonese, fluent Putonghua will be an advantage
- PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
