We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Head of Payments, Wealth, Asia North - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Product Mgmt Sr Lead Analyst - C14) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you're expected to:

The Product Management Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.
  • Subject matter expert and owner of all payment products for the Wealth business in HK
  • Manage the product lifecycle end-to-end, covering instant payments, domestic transfers, overseas transfers, debit cards and traditional payment tools.
  • Own the digital journey of payment services and constantly explore product innovation, optimization and seamless experience.
  • Lead the team to interact with various stakeholders on the design of end-to-end digital payment journey and ensure adequate transaction security for clients.
  • Oversee system enhancement projects with close collaboration with the technology team to deliver system changes.
  • Develop robust MIS and derive concrete insight to understand customer behavior and usage trend, and in turn drive continuous advancement of payment experience.
  • Develop and drive payment growth strategies to boost the usage of payment services and share of wallet.
  • Keep abreast of the latest market landscape to ensure Citi's competitiveness and actively capture opportunities to bring innovative payment solutions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders in the planning, development and implementation of creative marketing campaigns to drive the usage of payment services and boost the customer stickiness.
  • Liaise with the regulator, the clearing house and network partners on all matters pertaining to Payments
  • Ensure product control and operational resilience, and adherance to internal policies and external regulations at all times.
  • Lead, empower and motivate teams to deliver strong performance and develop talent.
  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience in payment services, retail digital experience and/or customer journey development.
  • Strong project management ability to manage complex projects with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Result-oriented with proven track record of driving business growth and delivering results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders and the technology teams
  • Strong client-centricity to deliver seamless digital payment journey with innovative ideas.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
