Position Summary We are looking for a Country People Partner for our North Asia team. This role will be pivotal in delivering people solutions that support the business needs. You will collaborate with people leaders, employees and other teams in People Function to ensure smooth delivery of day-to-day service, ensure adherence to local legislation, and improve organizational performance. You will also contribute to regional initiatives and play a key role in driving HR projects.
Role Responsibilities - Act as a trusted people partner and advisor to management and employees on all people-related aspects, provide mentor and guidance to the business on policies, team management and performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement people strategies and projects that support business goals and improve organizational efficiency.
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the process.
- Maintain compliance with local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Work closely within and outside of People Function to support employees throughout the employment life cycle, e.g., talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, rewards and benefits, talent management, people operations, global mobility, employee relations.
- Use data and metrics to seek opportunities for people partnering support to the business.
Desired Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in daily execution of HR activities, with a focus on business partnering
- Proficient in employment laws and labour practices of Hong Kong and Taiwan, and preferably Korea
- Proactive, reliable, meticulous and pragmatic
- Digital savvy, strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- HR project management experience
- Proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin, and preferably Korean
