Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review banking returns to be submitted to HKMA and comply with HKMA banking returns completion instructions.
- Prepare the regulatory report (DPB) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare interim and annual financial statements.
- Prepare annual and quarterly regulatory disclosure statements to the HKMA.
- Participate in system enhancement from Finance perspective, including but not limited to UAT and PIR.
- Execute ad-hoc assignment required by the management.
- Implement new accounting standards that are relevant to the bank business and operations.
- Assist on the annual external audit process.
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
- University graduated in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
- At least 3 years of working experience in Banks/ Big 4/ Financial Institution.
- Professional qualification in HKICPA or other professional accounting bodies would be an advantage.
- Hand on experience in accounting, financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to deal with multiple commitments / deadlines.
- Strong team management skills.
- Strong analytical and organizing skills.
- Good command of Chinese and English, proficient in Putonghua would be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS office, International HK financial accounting standards.
- Experience to system enhancement.
