A professional to join Risk Mgt Group, focusing on market risk, interest rate risk in banking book and counterparty credit risk mgt of the Branch.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day market risk management, ensuring effective monitoring, control and reporting of market risk:
  • Oversee and lead the coordination of risk management of treasury activities, including counterparty credit risk, liquidity modelling and interest rate risk;
  • Maintain risk management policies, framework and methodologies according to the HKMAs requirements and internal risk appetite;
  • Collaborate with Head Office and other internal stakeholders to enhance risk management practices;
  • Support new product assessments and ensure appropriate risk control before implementation.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in finance, risk management or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years market experience in risk management areas such as market risk, counterparty credit risk, interest rate risk;
  • In-depth knowledge in the regulatory requirements and treasury financial products;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, regulatory and auditors;
  • Proficient in Chinese-writing and Mandarin-speaking.
