Our client is an international private bank, they focus on providing clients with global investment solutions that meet the demands and challenges of sophisticated and complex investment and economic circumstances. With steady growth, they are now looking for a high calibre to join their team.
Responsible for
- Conduct maker and/or checker functions for all static data input regarding the establishment of new account & subsequent structure change of existing account relationship are compliance with legislations, regulations & bank policies
- Perform document review for account opening documentation and client static data updates during the client lifecycle
- Ensure maintenance of accurate document deficiencies records & client static data in core banking systemÂ
- Liaise with Frontline, Business Management & other related counterparties on documentation issues to facilitate the client on-boarding process
- Analyze and update all existing client data to identify and address any client data quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions as needed
- Perform static data maintenance of client database (Avaloq) and documentation system when necessary
- Approve clients requests for all other banking services handling by the team, ensure follow up actions for the requests and periodical control actions are in place
- Check & ensure accuracy of various management & regulatory reports
- Deliver training, guidance and coaching to junior team members
- Build strong working relationships with SMEs to deliver best practice processes and take ownership of client data quality improvements and remediation efforts
To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 8 years solid experience in handling account opening documentation review & data maintenance management in Private Banking. Well-versed with HKMAs AML requirements & Risk Assessments. Experience with Avaloq is an advantage. Good knowledge in various corporate structures especially for trust & foundation in different jurisdiction. Mature, independent. Good command of written & spoken Cantonese, English & Mandarin.
