FOF/ Manager of Managers Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement multi-asset allocation strategies in alignment with the companys investment objectives and client needs.
• Analyze market trends, identify investment opportunities, and optimize portfolio performance.
• Fund Manager Selection and Evaluation Conduct due diligence on external fund managers, including performance analysis, investment style assessment, risk management, and compliance reviews.
• Build and maintain a database of fund managers, regularly evaluating their performance and providing recommendations for adjustments.
•  Manage FOF portfolios to ensure alignment with asset allocation strategies and risk tolerance levels.
• Monitor portfolio performance, implement ongoing risk management, and execute rebalancing as needed.
• Client Relationship Management Collaborate with institutional and high-net-worth clients to understand their investment needs and deliver tailored solutions. Provide regular performance updates and market insights to internal and external clients. 
• Work closely with internal research teams, compliance departments, and sales teams to ensure comprehensive and compliant investment decisions. Support the development and promotion of new investment products.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a Masters degree or CFA designation is preferred.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in the asset management industry, with a minimum of 5 years in FOF investment or "Manager of Managers" roles.
• Strong familiarity with multi-asset investment strategies and fund manager selection processes.
• In-depth understanding and analytical skills across global markets (e.g., equities, fixed income, private equity, hedge funds, etc.). Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in portfolio modeling tools and software (e.g., Morningstar, Bloomberg, FactSet)
• Proficiency Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
