Overview:
Our client, a prominent financial institution in Hong Kong, specializes in corporate banking services, catering to the diverse needs of businesses across various industries. With a focus on providing tailored financial solutions, the bank has built a reputation for excellence in supporting the growth and success of its corporate clients. Currently, they're looking for a Manager of Treasury Settlement to join the team.
What You'll Do:
- Treasury Product Settlement: Oversee the end-to-end settlement process for treasury products, including FXMM and derivative transactions, ensuring timely and accurate settlement in accordance with market conventions and regulatory standards.
- Operational Management: Manage a team of settlement professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of settlement operations.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate settlement risks associated with treasury product transactions, implementing controls and processes to minimize operational and counterparty risks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to treasury product settlement, reporting obligations, and best practices in settlement operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and optimization in treasury product settlement operations to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance control mechanisms.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of treasury product settlement operations, analyze trends, and implement measures for continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CTP, FRM) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in treasury product settlement, FXMM operations, derivatives settlement, or related areas, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of treasury products, FXMM transactions, derivatives, settlement processes, and market conventions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Sound understanding of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in treasury product settlement.
- Excellent communication in both English and Chinese
- Strong collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
