Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a Senior Manager to oversee the Finance team focused on FICC and EQD for the FRR return. Candidates with less experience may also be considered for a Manager role. The position is open to applicants from Big 4 firms as well as other sectors within financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end reconciliation processes and the closing cycle to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Provide guidance on financial structuring and treatment for various business deals
- Lead the accounting setup for Equity Derivatives Products
- Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc financial reports to various stakeholders
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of daily and monthly FRR reporting
- Maintain and update procedural documents related to key reporting processes
- Drive process improvements and enhance internal controls
- Participate in year-end audits and tax filings
- Assist with special projects and continuously seek opportunities to improve finance operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience in financial services
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong PC skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Essbase, SAP system; FICC, EQD, OTCD licenses will be a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Less experience will be considered as a Manager
