System Analyst (Channel Services) (1-Year Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business/support unit, IT Project Manager, Tech Lead to gather requirements for new or existing eChannel services/products
• Supporting the Head of application support to handle the incident process management.
• Taking ownership of escalated incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders during incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and review functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Conduct SIT and support UAT, troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth deployment and implementation of any project.
• Monitoring support teams to ensure SLAs are met and to ensure optimal service and customer satisfaction.
• Providing accurate and regular reports to the management regarding to the incident management.
• Provides technical support to maintain the smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.

Requirements:
 

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6 years experience in application software development with at least 2 years in system analysis.
• Experienced in Java, JS, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Linux
• Proficiency in Java programming and hands-on experience with the Spring framework
• Strong understanding microservices architecture
• Experience of transforming huge monolithic application architecture and to microservices is advantage
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes is a strong asset.
• Knowledge and experience on e-channels systems is a plus
• Sound communication skills
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Able to coordinate own/others time, resources and workload
• Strong sense of teamwork, willing to share experience and expertise with team members
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
