Who are we looking for?
We welcome Practice Lawyers with suitable SFC and regulators litigation and financial services dispute resolution experiencer to make their move in-house. We are looking for stable players, so a CV that shows long employment durations either in-house or practice please.
You should be a versatile, multi-talented litigation lawyer, willing to learn and cover different types of dispute resolution, litigation, even matters concerning employment disputes. Of most importance is SFC litigation experience, compliance or related contentious disputes and securities, futures and wealth management products would be highly desirable.
You should have a minimum of 5 years Hong Kong qualified PQE.
Areas Of Focus And Responsibilities
The role is focused on dealing with in-house litigation, contentious and dispute resolution with clients, regulators and similar. You must have dealt with contentious matters with the regulators particularly in the HK SFC.
Given our clients multi-disciplinary approach in providing legal solutions, you will also get to collaborate with colleagues with an exceptional wealth of experience both in the Hong Kong office and other offices, and other compliance, risk, operations and front line colleagues.

Key Skills And Experience
- Minimum 4 -6 years HK solicitors/barrister PQE with experience in litigation/arbitration/general disputes resolution including Employment matters
- Hong Kong qualified , with SFC litigation/ disputes resolution experience
- Strategic thinker with commercial awareness.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative, manage own workload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Analytical, organised and can demonstrate initiative
- Adaptable to new systems, procedures and requirements of role.
