Overview
This foreign corporate bank in the region has a wide spectrum of banking services and products to its customers with the goal of becoming the bank of choice for Corporate customers in Asia. They are now seeking to hire a VP, Senior Trade Finance Sales, Transaction Banking to drive revenue for the bank through customised trade finance related solutions to existing and prospective customers.
Role Responsibilities
- Pitch and sell trade finance and Supply Chain related solutions to prospective and current Transaction Banking clients. In particular a focus on developing opportunities around Open Account trade solutions (Financial Supply Chain Management) and with a focus on client's eco-system (import and export).
- Work closely with Corporate Banking coverage team to identify anchor prospects and spokes relationships, provide advisory insights and pitch relevant solutions to generate sales results.
- Establish and maintain existing Transaction Banking client relationships by following up on leads and referrals.
- Review client's activities periodically with the Corporate Banking Relationship Managers and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure client's requirements are met to close a sales deal.
- Develop and maintain sales materials, review product and pricing conditions to ensure overall profitability for the business.
- Organise and/or participate in sales and marketing events for Transaction Banking clients.
- Source and maintain market and industry information, competitor product offering, pricing, and activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years Transaction Banking Trade Finance / Supply Chain Finance sales experience to corporate banking customers
- Strong Academics from a reputable University
- Strong team player
- A self-starter with strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills with good spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
