Assistant Vice President / Vice President, Transfer Agency, Fund Administration Services

The role involves day-to-day client servicing, BAU management and oversight responsibility for the transfer agency operations in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate procedure of Transfer Agent Services
  • Handle the on-boarding of client, fund distributor and investor, AML/KYC documentation, administration and data maintenance
  • Review fund prospectuses, operating memorandums and key fund documentation
  • Perform capturing, execution and settlement of all investor subscription, redemption, stock transfer, conversion and switch transactions from investor/fund manager and maintain the shareholders records timely and with accuracy
  • Prepare periodic client and investor reporting including investor statement, FATCA/CRS reports, etc
  • Perform AML/KYC periodic check and trigger event on investors
  • Communicate with investors and fund manager in respect of their subscription, redemption, transfer status and shareholding
  • Calculate and review the performance fee of equalization, series of shares and P/L allocation for LPF accounting
  • Process Capital Calls and Distributions efficiently
  • Address all requests and queries from fund managers, investors, auditors and other contractual parties or regulatory bodies for the funds 
  • Participates into UAT testing on regular system upgrade and system enhancement
  • Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as required
     

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years of experience in Transfer Agency in fund administration services
  • Possess solid knowledge of fund administration (i.e. Cayman Fund), multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements and AML
  • Possess the knowledge of Multifonds /PAXUS / Geneva/NTAS) would be an advantage
  • Independent, meticulous, pro-active, attentive to details, self-motivated, able to adapt in new challenges
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
