Responsibilities:
- Interpret changes in regulatory requirements related to Credit Risk RWA on HKMA and NFRA basis. Provide end-to-end advisory / solution and drive implementation in process, system and reporting to ensure compliant;
- Conduct bank-wide Credit Risk RWA analysis, monitor portfolio changes and identify key risk drivers, and recommend solutions for RWA saving;
- Continuous enhancement and development of MIS reports, adding new risk analytics dimensions and angles, drilling down specific portfolio to focus on particular risk areas;
- Draw insights from analytic reports and making recommendations in credit risk governance perspective to aid managements decision making;
- Maintenance and enhancement on the model and system of Return on Adjusted Capital (“ROACâ€) and Maximum Group Limit (“MGLâ€), and answer related queries from business units;
- Perform data mining and initiate the collection of new data from business units to enrich the reporting data-mart to support new credit risk analytics and management dimensions;
- Perform ad-hoc analysis or support data requests from regulators, auditors, mother-bank or senior management in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related disciplines;
- 5 - 8 years relevant experience in credit risk analytics in bank with IT project and system implementation for data systems;
- Experience in Basel III reform, Credit Risk RQA calculation for HKMA and NFRA rules, Banking (Exposure Limits) Rules, Banking (Capital) Rules, IFRS 9, etc.;
- Proficiency in SAS, MS Office and data mining skill set. Experience in Moodys RAY, Python, Tableau is an advantage;
- Self-motivated, detail-minded, organize and able to work independently;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
