Position Description

The ideal candidate will be a native Korean speaker and an enthusiastic and effective marketing professional with exceptional organizational and communication skills looking to build a career in financial services.
The Marketing Analyst will play an important role in supporting the marketing efforts of the Korea business primarily and will also support the Asia ex Japan businesses. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing support in marketing campaign execution, managing client email distributions and maintaining the suite of marketing collateral.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in the financial services industry, ideally in asset management. This role will involve collaborating with members of the APAC and Global Marketing teams. It will also involve close partnership with internal stakeholders (such as client-facing and compliance colleagues) and external vendors.
This role is a 1-year (renewable) contract position based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing plans
• Localize marketing collateral intended for the Korean market, including reviewing translations and developing formats appropriate for the market
• Work with design, multimedia and/or external vendors in the production of email newsletters, videos/webcasts, and client marketing campaigns

• Assist in the execution of marketing events, including inhouse functions and external conference sponsorships. Some travelling may be necessary for onsite events support.
• Gather and analyze metrics for marketing-related activities, assist in preparing campaign and post-event reports, manage stakeholder reporting, and deliver actionable recommendations based on findings where required
• Conduct competitor research to identify marketing trends and insights to support marketing strategies
• Coordinate with compliance to ensure all materials produced are fully compliant with regulations
• Assist with other marketing projects and activities to support the business as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or business-related discipline
• Preferably 2 years' experience in the financial services industry, ideally within asset management
• Native proficiency in spoken and written Korean, and professional proficiency in spoken and written English
• Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the investment management industry
