Operations Associate - Custodian Bank

You will be part of a leading custodian bank with a strong brand and network around the world. They are currently looking for an Operations Associate to join their growing team to assist on settlement and corporate action.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing support on daily operation across pre to post trade lifecycle

 

  • Support the facilitation for the movement of funds, trade settlement at sub-custodians

 

  • Perform daily reconciliation of cash and securities to ensure accuracy

 

  • Support fees handling ie. Custodian fee

 

  • Ensure relevant processing and reporting are processed for smooth trade lifecycle

 

  • Manage trade settlement related matters with internal and external stakeholders

 

  • Participate in UAT testing for Custodian systems

 

  • Support ad hoc projects assigned by the Custodian team head.

 

 

 

Key skills

  • Degree holder in any discipline.

 

  • Previous experience in Trade Settlement processing in middle and back office across local or global markets

 

  • Knowledge in Bloomberg, SWIFT, Euroclear, Clearstream, etc.

 

  • Previous experience on client facing and operational roles in Local/Global Custodian

 

  • Knowledge on CCASS and CMU would be an advantage

 

  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus.
