Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procedures and guidelines for credit card authorization and fraud detection, ensuring compliance with the Bank's and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee credit card authorization and fraud detection processes, exercising delegated credit approval authority to approve temporary credit line increases in line with the Bank's risk appetite.
  • Monitor credit card authorization to ensure alignment with market intelligence, best practices, and regulatory requirements, aiming to maintain the Bank's asset quality and minimize fraud losses in card and loan applications.
  • Lead the development of a fraud detection framework for cards and applications, providing feedback and recommendations to department heads.
  • Promptly handle e-banking fraud alerts in accordance with the Bank's procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties, including HKMA, HKAB, law enforcement, industry practitioners, and card schemes, to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects.
  • Represent credit risk functions in the review of new product programs for cards and unsecured lending, making recommendations to department heads for approval.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • 8 – 10 years of experience in credit card authorization and fraud risk management.
  • Ability to independently conduct fraud controls and initiate mechanisms for credit card transactions.
  • Extensive compliance knowledge, particularly related to credit card and related products.
  • Strong industry connections, especially in the credit card sector.
  • Proven experience in analyzing transaction behavior and utilizing MIS reports.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
