A reputable, Foreign Corporate Bank Branch in Hong Kong is currently looking for a new AVP or VP to join their Risk Management department, specifically within their Enterprise Risk sub-team. As a member of the team, you'll drive the development and enhancement of our bank-wide risk governance frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide risk governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Drive the Risk Appetite Framework implementation and oversee the identification and assessment of emerging risks
  • Partner with business units to evaluate and enhance risk controls across various risk types including ESG Risk and Reputational Risk
  • Provide independent risk oversight and challenge as part of the second line of defense
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior management through executive presentations and committee materials
  • Guide the assessment of new product risks and group company risk oversight

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise risk management / risk governance / risk control from banks;
  • Strong knowledge of HKMA regulatory requirements and Supervisory Policy Manual (SPM)
  • Track record of developing and implementing risk frameworks and policies
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at senior levels
  • ECF certification is advantageous
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
