Finance Director- Investment Firm

An established European investment firm is looking for an experienced finance senior manager or director. This position will be a key driver for firm’s regular investment monitoring and reporting work. More importantly, this position will lead firm’s project including system upgrades and optimization. Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly investment reporting for all asset classes in firms investment portfolio;
  • Design and upgrade investment reporting deck based on feedbacks/requirements from senior management;
  • Work closely with other team members to fully analyze any performance variance, valuation methodologies and mark-to-market;
  • Handle some investment operational work, as well as audits, controls, and valuations;
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to monitor ongoing investment activities;
  • Lead process optimization projects for current investment reporting system, including vendor identification, user requirement gathering, user testing, and adjustments.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with 10-15 years of experiences in banks, investment management firms, or PE/VC houses;
  • Graudates from reputable university, and stable career track in the past 10 years is a must;
  • Prudent accounting professional with high integrity and accountabilities;
  • Excellent work ethics and rich knowledge in investment accounting across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income and real estate;
  • Highly trust-worthy, and demonstrated high standard of work consistently;
  • Excellent English communication skills is a must.
