Our client is one of the largest professional services firms from Mainland China. Due to business needs, they would like to hire an IT Manager to oversee all-around IT operations.
Currently, the firm outsources a lot of its needs to vendors. Due to increasing costs and time to solve problems, they believe that hiring a hands-on manager would be more efficient in terms of both costs and performance.
In this role, you will likely manage 1 staff in the HK office. The HK office has around 40 staff. Having worked in a Chinese firm before is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organizations network and server infrastructure.
- Oversee IT support operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance security and performance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects, including upgrades and installations.
- Maintain hardware and software inventories, ensuring compliance and licensing.
- Train and support staff on IT systems and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance IT services.
- Willingness to handle other aspects such as application-side work (not development, but more of application roll-out/support, etc.)
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of network and server management.
- Experience with IT security, cloud services, and virtualization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
