Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Compliance Strengthening
  • Lead Branch CSM team in operations, service & compliance strengthening
  • Support branch to resolve problems encountered in daily branch operations
  • Implement strengthening programs and preventive measures to uplift branch service, operations, and control & compliance standards in line with inspection review, audit, corporate security, regulatory comments
  • Communicate clearly & promptly through briefings/meetings/chat group with Branch CSM team for implementation of ad hoc arrangement.
  • Business continuity plan of branch operations
Project Implementation and Support
  • Provide operations support in various operations projects and ensure a smooth implementation.
  • Identify areas of improvement and process streamlining to ensure work and control efficiency.
Staff Competency Uplift & Staff development
  • Bring up competency and knowledge of individual operations staffs. Train, coach & motivate operations staff. Follow-through with management action on staff requiring attention.
  • Identify the critical training needs and competency gaps of Treasures & Distribution operation force, and partner with Staff Development Team to suggest professional training and development plan for different branch operation staff category.
  • Partner District Head to identify potential operation staff and enroll for staff development plan on branch management succession plans for key managers and to ensure enough support and career development potential is given
  • Motivate operations staff by initiating and implementation of recognition program
People & Resources Management
  • Drive for people excellence and branch resources optimization to maximize efficiency and capacity.
  • Ensure rotation policy fulfillment,
  • Build succession pipelines for key roles,
  • Staff recruitment
Control and Compliance
  • Adhere to the Bank's policies, standards, operations guidelines / procedures, security and internal control measures.
  • Comply with the Ordinances and Code laid down by the Government and the related regulatory authorities.
Requirements
  • 5 years or above experience in banking operations.
  • PC knowledge
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Strong ownership and self-driven
  • Determined to drive for changes
  • Innovative and think out-of-the-box
  • Understand branch setup and operations flow
  • Know well of branch CSMs strength and weakness
