POSITION PURPOSE Financial institutions across Asia are outsourcing business to investment management companies who can demonstrate outperformance, creating an opportunity for T. Rowe Price to grow our presence in the intermediary market.
This position is viewed as an important component of the support network required in building out T. Rowe Price's franchise in Greater China. This individual will support T. Rowe Price's sales, marketing and revenue generation efforts in the Greater China Intermediary Team.
This role will provide an opportunity to build industry experience and knowledge of the intermediary market in Greater China.
Principal Responsibilities - Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports and respond to client queries on portfolio performance, risk metrics, marketing material requests and the planning of events/road shows.
- Support the Hong Kong Intermediary team through the provision of market, product and portfolio data.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers to develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive sales.
- Effectively utilize tools such as excel spreadsheets, macros and query tools, along with internet sites, both public and private. Knowledge of Bloomberg and Morningstar are a plus.
- Analyze and explain portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution.
- Pay significant attention to detail to ensure that work is delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with marketing and other teams to gather/create materials for the sales team.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, demonstrating a "goes the extra mile" attitude in internal and external interactions.
- Nature of the role will require candidate to demonstrate ability in multi-tasking and time management.
- Focus on specific goals and demonstrate a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS - Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, but able to operate in a team environment.
- Able to demonstrate a passion and interest for investment management.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 0 - 3 years of total relevant work experience.
