Executive Director - Global Banking & Markets Technology (APAC)
My client is a Global Investment Bank, and it is looking to hire an Executive Director level APAC Head of IT for their Global Banking & Markets technology department. Reporting into the Global Head of IT for Global Banking & Markets and responsible for cross asset class technology in the region.
Key responsibilities:
- Being the primary point of contact for technology to the global banking & markets business across equity derivatives, fixed income and FX.
- Leading the APAC technology teams across application development, production support and project management.
- Stakeholder management facing trading desks, front office and co-ordinating with C level globally.
- Providing strategic direction on the global banking & markets IT department.
- Co-ordinating projects both globally and regionally.
- Working with compliance and risk departments to uphold regulatory & compliance matters for APAC.
Key requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in technology with a proven team management/ departmental management of 10+.
- Must have a strong front-office background in equity derivatives, fixed income and FX.
- Technical background in application management covering development, production support and project management.
- Having worked with regional or global teams with the understanding of complex dynamic technology environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
