Title: Payroll /HRIS Lead – Educational Institution
Location: Hong Kong
About the Role: Our client is a well-established educational institution in Hong Kong who is looking for a Payroll/HRIS Lead to join their team. They are looking for a candidate with project management experience including digital transformation and system implementation. This role will report into the HR Director. Previous experience in PeopleSoft and Workday would be ideal.
Responsibilities: - Implementing and integrating HR systems from one to another
- Leading and monitoring pre-parallel run, parallel-run, UAT testing and reconciliation
- Review reports and reconcile contributions for all MPF and ORSO contributions
- Partner with HR to ensure the smooth operations of payroll
- Ensure accurate records are kept in the system and reconciled with the contracts for payroll processing
- Train, supervise and assign subordinates with various payroll duties in order to meet the deadlines
- Lead in payroll related projects
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Accounting
- Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll administrative including team management in a sizeable organization
- Familiar with HRIS system such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or other top tier systems
- Experience in digital transformation projects including system implementation and enhancement, and UAT etc.
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent in written and verbal communication skills, both English and Cantonese
- Works well under pressure in a friendly, collegial team-oriented environment
