Finance Systems Developer (Appian) - Financial Group

We are seeking a talented Finance Systems Developer with expertise in Appian to join our client's team in a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise systems, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions for financial operations and business processes.

Pinpoint Asia - Hong Kong - Full time

Salary: HK$30K - HK$40K per month, 5 days work


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement financial systems and applications using the Appian platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements.
  • Develop workflows, forms, and integrations to optimize financial processes.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliability.
  • Maintain technical documentation for system designs and configurations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian solutions into the broader technology ecosystem.
  • Stay updated on Appian best practices and financial industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Appian application development.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and business processes.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing Appian-based solutions, including Appian Sites, SAIL, and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and integration protocols (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Appian Level 1 or Level 2 certification is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other complementary programming languages.
  • Experience working in large-scale financial organizations or high-performance environments.
