Director of FP&A and Transformation - Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the organization's long-term strategic goals and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and provide insights to senior management.
• Lead scenario modeling and financial projections to support strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function.
• Implement financial systems and tools to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of finance processes and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with group and regulatory requirements, including financial reporting standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial literacy and strategic alignment across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with HKICPA or other professional related qualifications 
• 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong preference for candidates with a consulting background.
• Proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies that drive business growth.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
