Job Summary: An experienced network operations in-charge responsible for the day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) network operations. A team leader supervising a team of around 10 people collaborating for delivering high quality and high productivity of operational objectives. A leader in driving improvements and perfection in operational efficiency via process reviews and automations.
Job Duties: Responsibilities: - As a team lead, supervising a team of support engineers to accomplish network operations tasks and foster systems stability through the implementation of operational controls.
- To manage operations KPI and lead continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and team performance.
- To lead the digitization of IT operations by adopting automation, system tools and new digital workflow processes via e.g. ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Terraform and Ansible Tower, etc.
- To oversee the quality and completeness of operational and security processes through KPI, metrics monitoring and regular testing of controls.
- To lead incident management process and command firefighting during technical issues, outages of critical network infrastructure.
- To manage operations budget and manage vendor with prevalent third-party risk management methodology.
- To develop and enforce network policies and standards while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
- To liaise, co-ordinate and collaborate with various internal and external parties, e.g. Application developers, other IT managers, vendors, business units, projects, operation reviews and other business initiatives.
Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related disciplines
- At least 7-year experience in implementation and support of mission critical IT infrastructure
- Hand-on experience in building and trouble-shooting large scale IP network infrastructure
- Experience in managing teams in IT infrastructure development and production support functions.
- Knowledge in security and networking products such as Firewall, Routers, Switches, Load-balancers, etc.
- Familiar with ServiceNow Ansible, SolarWinds, Firemon, JIRA and Confluence
- Strong communication, collaboration problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary.
- Manage multiple projects with different priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing technologies and challenges.
