Minimum of 5 years of experience in data operations within the financial services industry.
Proven track record in fund data set-up, account opening, and registration with Transfer Agents.
Experience in managing and improving data management processes. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus. - Skills:
Extensive process knowledge in data operations, including fund data set-up and account opening.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in using data management tools and financial platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex data-related issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. - Attributes:
Proactive and able to anticipate potential issues and implement solutions.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Your role in the team The successful candidate will join a newlyset-up Asia Data team of 2 people and part of Global Data office. Contributionof the Data Senior Specialist will allow successful buildup of Data office functionlocally within the time zone in recognition of the importance of Asia Businessand clients base.
Key Responsibilities: - Fund Data Set-up:
Oversee and manage the accurate and timely set-up of fund data, ensuring all necessary information is correctly entered and maintained in the system.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather and verify fund data. - Account Opening and Registration:
Handle the account opening process, including the registration with Transfer Agents.
Ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving data management processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data operations. - Proactive Issue Resolution:
Act proactively to identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent disruptions in daily operations.
Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure milestones are met and operational goals are achieved. - Data Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.
Implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies or errors. - Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, Transfer Agents, and other external partners, to ensure smooth data operations.
Communicate effectively to resolve any data-related queries or issues. - Reporting and Analysis:
Generate and analyze reports on data operations to monitor performance and identify trends.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making. - Training and Support:
Provide training and support to team members on data management processes and best practices.
