Currently, they are searching for a Cloud Engineer to work on a Fintech project with a fast-growing financial services company in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud transformation strategies.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms and services that align with business goals and requirements.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
- Design and implement basic CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based systems and applications.
- Migrate on-premise applications to Kubernetes-based cloud platforms such as AWS EKS.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and applications.
- Collaborate with other engineers to ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud transformation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) template design.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Experience with Kubernetes (k8s) and Docker.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) template design using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
- Basic knowledge and skills in CI/CD.
- Basic knowledge and skills in Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud migration and transformation tools and methodologies.
