Job Purpose & Objectives
An experienced Application Support Engineer to join our Global Markets team to provide functional support for our trading platforms across FX, Rates, and Equity desks.
Key Responsibilites
- Support trading platforms, order management, and risk systems for FX, Rates, and Equity desks.
- Be the first point of contact for application technical issues on the trading floor.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, working with traders, risk managers, and developers.
- Troubleshoot issues like mispricing, misbooking, incorrect positions, etc.
- Identify and fix problems, escalating critical incidents when needed.
- Assist traders and operations with trade-related queries and issues.
- Manage and maintain local trading desk tools.
- Guide junior traders on tools development.
- Be the go-to person for Asia-specific system nuances.
- Coordinate daily with the head office on new developments, deployments, and stay aware of the global agenda.
