Business Intelligence Data & Cloud Governance (Top-tier Investment Bank)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners to develop strategic and tactical solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data needs.
• Conduct thorough business analysis, prepare user stories, and determine workflows.
• Provide recommendations for process enhancements and system upgrades to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Facilitate problem definition and establish project scope by engaging with stakeholders across various functional groups to define business needs.
• Manage project tasks from initiation to completion, including conducting feasibility reviews, gathering and documenting requirements, and facilitating target operating model reviews.
• Create detailed project timelines and execution paths, monitoring all deliverables and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
• Track project progress, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity.

Requirements:

• An analytical yet entrepreneurial mindset is essential for success in this role, combined with a passion for data governance and resolving data quality issues.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, with a proven ability to build strong team partnerships.
• Experience with reporting, management information (MI), data visualization tools, and other business intelligence (BI) tools is preferred.
• Strong project management capabilities are crucial, including people management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly through presentations and reports.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed. Experience or awareness of the private wealth management industry is strongly desired.
