Job Profile:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The appointee will assist in delivering accurate financial reports and managing daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities:
- Daily recording of all financial transactions to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
- Review and verify expenditures, including petty cash expenses.
- Support budget and forecast preparation processes.
- Assist during internal audits and other financial audits as needed.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as instructed.
- Handle other general administrative tasks related to accounting and finance as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant or working towards this qualification.
- Possess experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Excel, with strong numeracy skills, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a great plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
