This role will be the core team member in Group Customer office to spearhead overall analytics & insights strategy. This includes partnering with technology team to form a customer 360 data platform across different domains of data such as demographics, policy, claims, customer journey & interaction data points so as to drive the adoption of reporting, analytics and personalized contact. The role will also champion a data-driven decision-making culture, spearhead the right use cases for achieving customer growth, better customer journey design and improving customer experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and design use cases for maximizing Customer Growth and improving customer experience, partner with analytics team in local business units to take the design framework into implementation and deliver value out of these use cases.
  • Champion the culture of data-driven decision making and drive integration of data insights into business processes. Plan, design, and implement regular dashboards for key management update.
  • Partner with analytics members in local business units and group technology team to assess, plan and implement the migration of key dashboards and ongoing analytics deliverable currently sourced from on-premises servers to Azure Databricks.
  • Leverage data across different customer touch points, policy data, channel data to formulate customer contact, journey design or marketing initiatives that delight customers and drive business results. Continuous test & learn through robust testing.
  • Act as a key business partner to provide requirement and prioritization to technology team, so as to keep up with evolving data demands and changing technology landscape. Orchestrate use cases and drive new data & tooling adoption.

Job Requirements
  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Decision Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Marketing Analytics or Statistics.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Data, Analytics and CRM from financial institutions.
  • Proven experience in translating business requirement into ad-hoc analysis or PowerBI dashboard.
  • Sound knowledge on PowerBI and experience on migration from on-premises to Azure Databricks.
  • Knowledge in latest trends of CRM and analytics platform/ tooling including but not limited to Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to develop insights that help with business actions and commercialization; as well as to translate business requirements into technical data and/or infrastructure requirement for IT to execute.
  • Sharp business acumen, strategic thinking and strong understanding on sales, customer & marketing and operations in insurance industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to partner and influence across different functions/business units.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
