Job Descriptions:
- Be the subject lead of more sophisticated strategic initiatives and distribution channel proposals and partner with key stakeholders within the organization to review / prepare or evaluate business cases and make recommendation to management to ensure allocating the company's budget resources in alignment with business strategies. This covers a broad spectrum of business initiatives across products, distribution, operations, customers, etc.
- Conduct and review the financial and risk assessment on more sophisticated strategic initiatives and distribution channel proposals and other significant expenditures to ensure cost effectiveness and company's sustainable financial position is maintained. Facilitate the end-to-end approval process of business cases, including preparation and review of approval documents, engagement with approvers and regional teams to ensure compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide ad-hoc support within Finance on Channel related business strategies. Produce and review data analytics and reports as required from time to time to facilitate management decision making on business cases or strategic initiatives.
- Conduct and review post implementation review on the benefits realization of approved business initiatives, as required, to identify gaps and opportunities with solutions proposed to better realize benefits in future.
Job Requirements:
- University degree holder in Accounting or Commerce.
- Qualified accountant with solid knowledge in the financial metrics of life insurance business.
- Relevant years relevant experience
- Solid knowledge in the financial metrics of life insurance business
- Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competent at stakeholder management at all levels and tactful in resolving conflicts
- Effective communication skills with ability to adjust the tone, form and content for different audience and situations.
- Capable of articulating own views/ stand points and influencing others in a tactical manner.
- Proficient in written and spoken English
