About the Client
My client is a regional MNC with a strong presence in Asia and Europe. They are now seeking a seasoned Risk Management professional to join their regional head office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to move in-house and cover wider business needs by leveraging insurance products/policies to transfer risk. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated and collaborative business team while contributing to high-impact projects on a regional scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Insurance Program Management: Support the selection, procurement, administration, and coverage review across all classes of general insurance, ensuring alignment with the Group's risk management objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with insurance intermediaries, brokers, and service partners to maintain exceptional service standards and deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Claims Management: Oversee and provide guidance on large or complex claims/incidents, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining an accurate claims database.
- Contractual Risk Support: Assist in reviewing contracts with a focus on insurance requirements, indemnification clauses, liability limitations, and other related provisions to mitigate risk exposure.
- Risk Engagement: Partner with insurance intermediaries and risk consultants to facilitate workshops, surveys, and incident investigations.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to various initiatives related to risk management, insurance, and business continuity planning as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience, ideally within general insurance.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) being a strong asset.
- Proven experience in managing general insurance programs, claims handling, or risk management within a corporate or insurance setting.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage analysis, and contract reviews related to indemnity and liability provisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex claims or incidents.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with brokers, consultants, and internal teams.
