Job Description:
Investment Analysis and Research:
- Conduct thorough analysis of investment opportunities across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
- Research and evaluate potential investments based on their risk-return profile, market trends, and financial performance.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
Fund and Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of institution-sized capital, ensuring optimal asset allocation and risk management.
- Track and analyse portfolio performance against benchmarks and industry standards. Prepare regular performance reports for stakeholder and senior management.
Due Diligence:
- Conduct due diligence on investment managers, funds, and direct investments to ensure alignment with the family office's investment strategy and risk tolerance.
- Evaluate legal, financial, and operational aspects of potential investments.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Keep abreast of market developments, economic indicators and regulatory changes whilst regularly updating senior management and stakeholders on fund performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Good knowledge in financial market, Bloomberg and Capital IQ
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications: CFA, CPA, or similar certifications are a plus
