We are currently seeking high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Investment Operations Manager.
Principal responsibilities - Custodian services (account and security maintenance/segregation and reporting)
- Trade support on fund transfer and settlement
- Coordinate and execute cash allocation with internal stakeholders
- Middle office support for alternative investments (e.g. fund valuation, cashflow management, KYC, etc.)
- Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external counterparts, including but not limited to operational streamlining and process automation.
- Develop, implement Operating Procedures (incl. outsourced parties) in accordance with the Business Services Operating Model, internal policy and external regulatory requirement
- Operational support on governance and regulatory reporting task (e.g. EUC reporting, GL account reconciliation and substantiation, internal and external audit, outsourcing agreement management, Volcker Rule Attestation, etc.)
Requirements - University degree preferably in Business Administration, Investment, Insurance or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in investment operations, fund administration or related field
- Self-driven, with the ability to solve problems with conceptual and analytical capabilities to deal with ambiguities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate and manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written communication skills & high proficiency in English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong attentiveness to detail, with ability to work independently and under pressure
