Role:

  • Develop and nurture high-level relationships with offshore China corporate clients, understanding their strategic needs and providing bespoke solutions in Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities.
  • Lead the execution of daily transactions, ensuring the delivery of FICC products meets client expectations and enhances their trading experience.
  • Stay at the forefront of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting the FICC landscape, providing clients with strategic insights and advice.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of FICC products and services, effectively communicating their strategic value to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including traders, relationship managers, and product specialists, to deliver integrated solutions and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations, upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, client feedback, and market conditions to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in FICC sales, with a proven track record of managing relationships with offshore China corporates.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, FICC products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex priorities.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly desirable.
