WPB Chief of Staff The WPB Chief of Staff function adds further strength to the management team as it plays a vital part in driving the formulation of business strategies and managing business performance. The team supports the business to grow revenues and profitability, while meeting de-risking objectives and maintaining an effective risk management framework. Key responsibilities cover the below areas:
•Support formulation, agreement, and implementation of strategic plans for the business
•Cost structure transformation and management to future proof the bank
•Risk governance to support the management team in risk oversight and decision making
•Provide oversight of fraud management and operations activities

Senior Manager, WPB Business Risk Management.
Principal responsibilities - The job holder is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across the Wealth & Personal Banking business. The job holder works closely with business units and senior management to ensure effective risk management practices are in place and risks are within the bank's risk appetite.
- Support the management of WPB business risk management governance, framework, policies and processes to safeguard WPB from current and other emerging risks
- Coordinate with all WPB Business Units on risk management and regulatory activities
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure business units comply with regulations and internal policies
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators, risk events, and risk exposures for the WPB business
- Lead business risk management projects and coordinate implementation across WPB
- Drive a strong risk culture across the WPB business
- Collaborate with other risk management functions (including second & third line of defence) to ensure a holistic view of risk
Requirements - University graduate with a minimum of 8 years working experience in risk management within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on retail banking
- Proven experience in risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to drive a diverse group including internal and external partners
- Project management skill with a track record in managing multiple priorities
- Attentiveness to details, self-motivated and strong communication skill
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
