Our client is a listed conglomerate with a strong presence in HK, China and Asia Pacific. While already possessing a strong market position, they are looking to recruit a high calibre Innovation and Transformation Director to join the team.
About the Role
Reporting to the department head and leading a team, you are responsible to evaluate emerging technologies and trends to understand their potential effects on industry practices and operational processes. Provide strategy and solution to management on effectively utilizing technology to enhance business process and administrative efficiency. Collaborate with external tech and innovation providers to tap into their expertise and, when necessary, outsource for optimal long-term solutions. The candidate should possess digital expertise, particularly in understanding digital trends, tools, and platforms like AI, with an emphasis on utilizing these technologies to enhance operational efficiencies and outcomes.
The successful applicants
- Bachelor degree and at least 15+ years of professional experience with a specific track record in successfully managing innovation pipeline and/or digital transformation project
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- Passionate about the digital transformation of the natural & built asset space
- Ability to interact with external vendors and key strategic outsourcing partners
Ability to interact internally with key stakeholders across all businesses and functions - Ability to inspire colleagues, clients and potential partners with new ideas and discipline combined with pragmatism to implement them rapidly
- Proactive, practical, entrepreneurial, open-minded, flexible and creative
- Good command in English and Chinese
