This foreign corporate bank with an emerging footprint in Asia is now providing a new opportunity for a Senior Analyst (Credit Analyst / Risk Management) to join the team to review and monitor the credit risk of Large Corporate clients undertaken by the Branch by way of due diligence on new credit applications, prepare periodic reviews & covenants monitoring, prompt update of internal ratings and adverse news monitoring.
Job Responsibilities
- Review new corporate credit applications with a view to provide an independent credit opinion.
- Develop expertise in the assigned business segment in order to be able to provide independent recommendation on new credit applications and response to waiver requests
- Work closely with business unit in the conduct of credit/ lending activity.
- Prepare detailed annual reviews as well as renewals for bilateral facilities.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality by way of news monitoring, periodic reviews and ensure current loan loss provisions, internal ratings and account grading reflect the state of the credit/ asset quality.
- Participate in semi-annual portfolio review exercise and regional credit committee meetings
Requirements
- University graduate in any disciplines, preferably major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Minimum 2+ years of corporate banking credit analysis experience, preferably from Corporate Banks reviewing large listed corporates
- Previous experience in foreign corporate banking will be a plus
- High proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
