Your new role
- Coordinate and facilitate new client requests across Capital Markets, serving as the central point of contact throughout the client onboarding process. This includes data collection for clients, the Line of Business, and all supporting functions (both local and global) such as Legal, Credit, Compliance, AML, Tax, Central New Accounts, and Operations.
- Enhance the client experience when establishing a relationship with the bank by making the process more efficient, seamless, and transparent.
- Oversee the client onboarding process from the initial request to the final account opening, ensuring proper information sharing, priority placement, and collaboration among all partner groups. Provide transparency on the status of requests to both the Line of Business and the client.
- Support KYC requirements by conducting analysis and quality checks of profiles.
- Offer guidance to the Line of Business and support areas to resolve client or specific market segment/regulatory onboarding issues and challenges.
- Ensure all clients are fully set up to trade, meeting both regulatory and internal requirements.
- Assist the Line of Business and clients with regulatory adherence processes, including Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, EMIR, JFSA, HKPI, SGII/AI, FATCA, CRS, and others.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly client status reporting for all stakeholders.
- Notify all internal teams of new clients and related information, ensuring a seamless hand-off to support teams.
- Aid in the implementation of technology to streamline the front-to-back process.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5 + years of experience in client onboarding within Capital Markets, with a focus on global markets.
- Knowledge of equity and fixed income products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English and Chinese.
