• Lead the audits functions within PHKL and PGHK under Group and local IFRS financial reporting
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with SOX requirements
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management and the audit committee
• Actively engage external auditors and Group SOX team to manage the audit scope, status and timeline
• Collaborate with process owners to ensure alignment on the submission to auditor and proper documentation of all significant processes
• Actively manage the open deficiencies identified in prior year/current year. For any control deficiency, plan and coordinate the remediation actions with different process owners.
• Develop the knowledge of audit, process & control within the team
Job Descriptions:
- Half year review and year end audit, IFRS financial reporting (Group & local)
- SOX interim testing, roll-forward testing and year-end testing
- Key audit findings and SOX control deficiencies and remediation actions
- Updates to PHKL senior management and audit committee
- Risk coordinator for finance team
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an accounting or actuarial related field
- Over 12 years of experience in the insurance finance industry
- Over 5 years of financial services audit experience. Experience with a major firm is preferred
- Knowledge of IFRS 17
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. SAP, SUN GL)
- Knowledge of database management tool (e.g. SQL, Alteryx)
