Senior Operations Manager (ETFs) - Hong Kong

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the ETF creation and redemption (and cover Delta One trading and Equity Finance when needed).
• Building relevant operational processes and act as intermediary to Fund houses who provide ETF and their Trustees.
• Be responsible for KPIs as well as establishing Target Operating Models, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business performance.
• Lead the implementation of procedures across trading platforms, including contingency procedures.
• Be the main point of contact for all client trading account related issues.
• Collaborate closely with the technology team to build and improve platform services and procedures and support the integration between internal and vendor systems, ensuring seamless workflows.
• Work with Risk and Finance teams on operations control and other related requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Finance or related field with at least 8 years of proven experience and exposure to ETF creation and redemption, ideally including experience building Operations teams in banking/finance environment.
• Complimentary knowledge/experience with Swaps, Futures and Forwards, etc. Equity Finance Trading Desk experience will be highly beneficial.
• Client Service experience preferred, preferably within Prime Brokerage.
• Experience working closely with internal compliance teams and liaising with regulators will be very advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and leadership ability, highly motivated with a drive and passion for all that you do.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access, with VBA knowledge beneficial.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential for this position.
